We have just held two local displays of work and photographs inspired by Northam Burrows, that were produced during and after the walks.

"I am looking forward to the Barnstaple exhibition, and meeting up with old and new friends!

 

If you are able to visit - our pictures will give you a flavour of this fascinating coastal landscape, as well as  the inspiring and creative time we had together. You will see some of our activities - ranging from sketches, sand drawings, photography, poetry, and performance - as well as artworks carried out afterwards, inspired by the walks.

 

For those unable to visit, I will do my best to get as many pictures as possible both here and on the blog (see the menu on the left). 

  

The blog is directly linked to Google Blogspot. It's a great place to share your news, photos, videos, stories... and open to everybody!  It is a place not just  for news about the  North Devon coast - but anything at all about your experience of landscape and art around the world."

Essential Nature Art Walks  took place in  June 2010


at Northam Burrows, in North Devon's AONB  (Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty).  

 

It was a public event, and a part of the North Devon Festival -  responding to a unique and intricately diverse coastal landscape - with drawing, photography, ephemeral art works, and creative writing.
